How to avoid wrinkles in natural ways

General about wrinkles

I have passed the 30s many years ago and I ask myself: How do I get rid of the fine lines and the wrinkles in my face?
The wrinkles are not only located in my face, but also on my arms, legs, thicks and butt!
What concerns me most, is the fine lines and wrinkles in my face.
Are there any miracle solutions, so I can get rid of these wrinkles or maybe reduce the lines.
I prefer to try a natural way and not spend money on an operation.
Before we declare war against wrinkles we need to understand what wrinkles are.
Also, it is really important to understand what we can expect and the causes of facial wrinkles as we age.

As we age, our skin begins to lose collagen fibers and elastin in our skin.
This process causes sagging skin and wrinkles.

When the top layer of your skin starts to thins out, your skin loses its elasticity and moisture.
This and the missing collagen production causes the wrinkles and the fine lines in your face.
Air pollution and free radicals also damage the skin and collagen, so remember to use skincare products in your face.
Another sinner is the sun. Too much sun exposure will age your skin and damage the outer layer of your skin.
Many studies indicate that sun damages of your skin are responsible for up to 90% of aging skin. So be careful when you are exposed to the sun or living in sunny areas.
But, in moderation, the sun can be good for your mental health as well for your body.

So if you want to reduce or delay wrinkles and fine lines, you should have an effective skincare routine.

Following an effective wrinkle, free skin care routine is essential if you want to delay lines and other signs of aging skin as much as possible.

To fight the wrinkles and unwanted lines in your face, you need to know more about these lines.

When it comes to wrinkles, there are 4 types of facial wrinkles:

  • 1. Atrophic crinkling rhytids
  • 2. Dynamic or expression wrinkles
  • 3. Static wrinkles
  • 4. Gravity wrinkles

1. Atrophic crinkling rhytids

Wrinkles that look like small parallel lines that often disappear again after your skin stretch out.
These lines often occur on your chest and on your face.
What causes atrophic crinkling rhytids?
Skin sagging creates these lines as a result of a loss of elasticity and collagen.
The main causes:

  • Sun exposure
  • Free radicals formed by UV exposure, break down collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are the bricks that provide structure and firmness to your skin.
  • Smoking
How to prevent?
Wear SPF sun protection on a daily basis (sometimes more than once a day). Areas to protect is especially your face, chest and neck and or exposed body areas.

2. Dynamic or expression Wrinkles

These lines and wrinkles are linked to the underlying muscles structure in your skin. Typically these wrinkles appear when we use facial expressions and are visible when a muscle contracts.
Around your 30s, this type of wrinkle and lines starts to appear on your face.

Dynamic or expression Wrinkles becomes visible when we are

  • Laughing
  • Frowning
  • Squinting
  • Crying
  • Smiling

Dynamic or expression lines become visible in your face because of the repeated contractions of the muscles in your face movements.
As we age, lines and wrinkles get deeper, due to sun exposure and the loss of skin elastin and collagen.

3. Permanent elastic crease

These lines and wrinkles are also visible when your face muscles are at rest.
These wrinkles are formed by the lack of collagen and elasticity in the skin caused from:

  • Age
  • Smoking
  • Dynamic wrinkles
  • Sun exposure
  • Free Radicals

4. Deep wrinkles or sagging skin

Deep wrinkles are often formed by the effect of gravity and age. As we get older, elastin and collagen production goes down and our skin loses its firmness and tightness. The skin begins to wrinkle and as muscles become weaker and weaker too, the skin starts to sag.
Gravity is all about weight, if the loose skin is heavier than air, then the skin fall down as sagging skin and deep wrinkles.

Sagging skin is causing by:

  • Age
  • The decrease of muscles mass
  • Extreme loss of weight
  • A decrease of collagen and elastin production
  • Sun exposure
  • Smoking

Conclusion – How to avoid wrinkles in natural ways

As you might have noticed, some of the causes are the same. So what can we learn by that?

  • If you smoke, STOP smoking.
  • Protect your skin from free radicals and air pollution.
  • If you are exposed to the sun, wear SPF sun protection on a daily basis - ALWAYS
  • If you feel a lack of collagen or elastin, provide Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A or other collagen boosting skincare products to your skin.
  • Exercise at all ages, don't let your muscles fade. If you cant build muscles then maintain your muscles as good as possible.
