Most young people have tried to have pimples and acne. Acne and pimples most often hit on teenagers between 13 and 23 years.
Normally pimples are small outbreaks in the face, neck, back, and chest. Sometimes the pimples also hit on legs and arms as well.
Pimples can be quite difficult to get rid of and they have a tendency to come back again and again.

Often conventional treatment like pills or skin care products can be effective. But the main problem for conventional acne treatment is that they often leave the skin irritated and dry. Therefore it sometimes requires extra treatment to get rid of the dry skin afterward.
A natural alternative to conventional treatment of acne is essential oils. Essential oils are much more gently to the skin and a true vegan and natural way to treat pimples.

Natural essential oils to use for fighting acne and pimples.

1. Treat breakouts with Organic Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree Oil is extracted from the green leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree, which is original from Australia.

As you might know, Tea Tree Oil is well-known for its ability to fight bacteria and reduce skin inflammation. Specifically, Tea Tree Oil helps fight acne and epidermis, two types of bacteria that can cause pimples.
One study found that 5% Tea Tree Oil gel was nearly four times more effective at reducing acne lesions. The same study also found that it was almost six times more effective at reducing acne severity than the placebo.

In another study, the gel containing 5% concentrated Tea Tree Oil was proven equally effective at reducing acne as a lotion containing 5% benzoyl peroxide, a common acne medication.

The treatment with Tea Tree Oil also resulted in fewer adverse effects than benzoyl peroxide treatment. These include dryness, irritations, and burnings.

Tea Tree Oil is very potent, so it’s important to note that it can cause redness and irritation when applied directly to the skin. This is the main reason why it should be diluted with water or carrier oil.

How to treat acne with Tea Tree Oil?
1. Add one part Organic Tea Tree oil to nine parts water.
2. Use a cotton swab to apply the mixture to the pimples.
3. Apply moisturizer, if needed.

Apply once or twice a day, as needed.

Also, Oils of Rosemary and lemongrass were also shown to effectively fight acne.

One study compared 10% benzoyl peroxide and acne-fighting abilities of clove-basil Essential Oil. The study showed that both 2% and 5% clove-basil Oils were most effective and faster at reducing pimples.

Another study found that a gel containing acetic acid and orange and sweet basil essential Oils resulted in a 75% increase in treating pimples and acne.

Essential oils like these are very concentrated and might cause irritation if applied directly to the skin or scalp.

How to treat spots with Essential Oils

3. Apply Green Tea to the Skin

Every day around the world, many people drink green tea for its health benefits, but it can also be healthy on your skin.

Some Green Tea ingredients contain flavonoids and tannins, which are well known to help fight inflammation and bacteria that may cause pimples.
Green Tea is also high in the antioxidant, which has been shown to fight inflammation, reduce sebum production and fight the growth of acne.
Many studies have shown that people with acne experience significantly fewer pimples after applying a 2–3% green tea extract to their skin.
Skincare products on the market that contains green tea are growing fast because of the efficiency of healing pimples. But it is very simple and cheap to make Green Tea mixture at home.

How to Use Green Tea for Acne
1. Put Green Tea in boiling water for 3–4 minutes.
2. Make the Green Tea cool down.
3. Apply the Green Tea to your face with a cotton ball.
4. Leave it overnight or minimum for 10 minutes and wash your face with water.
5. This routine can be done once or twice a day as needed.

Store the Green Tea mixture in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

4. Moisturize With Aloe Vera

Because of great properties, Aloe vera is a popular treatment for a variety of skin conditions including psoriasis and burns.
There are limited studies on the ability of Aloe vera to fight pimples, but Aloe vera is widely used.

Often Aloe vera is used in combination with Essential Oils to get maximum effect.
In a study, different concentrations of aloe vera gel were added to clove-basil Oil lotion and evaluated for anti-acne treatments. The study shows that a high concentration of aloe vera in the lotion gave the highest effect at reducing pimples.

Another study tested a Vitamin A cream alone and the same cream added 50% aloe vera gel. The Vitamin A cream with Aloe vera was significantly more effective at fighting pimples than Vitamin A cream alone.

Although Aloe vera gel on its own was not effective at fighting pimples, Aloe enhanced the anti-acne effects when combined.

How to Use Aloe Vera Gel for Pimples and Acne
1. Use a 95% or higher Aloe vera gel of scrape the gel out of a fresh Aloe leaves with a spoon.
2. Apply the gel to the skin. You can try mixing it with your other treatment.
3. Repeat this routine once or twice per day.
4. If you use purchased Aloe vera gel, please make sure it does not contain added ingredients.

SUMMARY
Applying Aloe vera to the skin can help treat burns and fight inflammation. It has also been shown that Aloe vera can increase the anti-acne effects of other treatments.
