What is Tea Tree Oil?

Tea Tree Oil is an essential oil extracted from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolias tree. The term “Tea Tree” however covers several different plants, but is typically called Melaleuca alternifolia when talking about essential oil. Therefore, Tea Tree Oil is also called Melaleucaolie in some countries.
The tree grows naturally in Australia and New Zealand, but after discovering the oil’s many advantages it has started to produce the tree in other countries, especially in North Africa and the United States.

1. Pimples and acne
Because the oil is anti-bacterial, it can prevent new pimples from occurring. The oil purifies the pores with its active ingredients and leaves the skin clean and protected.

2. Dry and irritated scalp
