Best winter salve for your dry skin
Contents
Have you ever tried to have a long walk in the winter snow and your cheeks are freezing?
Especially when you get inside to a nice warm living room with a fire in the fireplace. Then you know the feeling of winter dry skin.
None of your moisturizers are working, so why not make the Best fat salve for your body yourself?
And nothing is more satisfying than grabbing a big handful of this natural and homemade salve! So no need to be petty, this salve costs only a fraction of branded salves.
This winter salve is also perfect for your children.
This Winter salve is made of natural ingredients like beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, and nourishing vitamin E.
Of cause, this salve can be used alone, but I prefer to mix a few drops of essential oil. By adding essential oils, you can design your own blend and design your own scent.
My favorite essential oils are – Best winter salve for your dry skin
- Lavender
- Rose
- Lemon
- Orange
- Chamomile
- Peppermint
- Eucalyptus
- Tea Tree
- Frankincense
To give the salve a healing effect, I add Lavender and Peppermint.
To treat any skin issues, like acne, pimples, or age spots, I often add the Tea Tree and Frankincense essential oils.
That is the reason why I always make 32 ounces at a time, enough to fill 8 glass jars of 4 ounces each. This will cover my need for the hardest winter months – and I can even use a few for giveaways.
Also, it is easier to measure the ingredients when I use this scale. You are welcome to make the salve in your own dimensions, at any time off cause.
