Perfect Banana Bread

It is super easy to make this healthy Perfect Banana Bread and you will love it.
Have you ever had overripe bananas? and you did not know what to do with them?
It’s very simple, just put the bananas in a resealable plastic bag and store the bananas in the freezer.
When you have about 4-6 bananas, take them from the freezer and store them at room temperature. Now they are ready to be transformed into a piece of gorgeous Perfect Banana Bread.

Ingredients – Perfect Banana Bread

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 spoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup buttermilk, sour cream or yogurt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups mashed overripe bananas

Directions – Perfect Banana Bread


Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly butter a loaf pan.

Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl. In another bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla and stir in the mashed bananas. Now fold the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined.

Pour the mixture into the buttered pan. Bake until the bread is browned – use the toothpick method to be sure. The bread should be ready after 45-55 min in the oven.
Let the bread rest and cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
Ready to enjoy.

The toothpick method:

Stick a toothpick into the center of the cake or bread and the toothpick should come out completely clean. If not, then the cake/bread need more heat.

Tip: Aluminum foil is great to keep food moist and easy to clean up.
